Illooms are recruiting for Business Development Manager to join our growing and successful sales team, to drive key relationships in grocery/retail/distribution channels.

Responsibilities:

Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities for business growth and expansion.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate new markets and increase market share.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
New Business Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
Negotiation: Negotiate terms and contracts with potential clients to secure new business partnerships.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align business development strategies with overall company objectives.
Sales Performance Analysis: Analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize sales effectiveness.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities for senior management review.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
Proven track record of success in business development, with a minimum of [X] years of experience in a similar role.
Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and meet targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative business development strategies.
Results-driven and highly motivated, with a passion for driving business growth and achieving success.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
