Role Overview:

As our Graphic Designer, you’ll be working on FMCG projects for global retailers, producing artwork and vector illustrations for brand packaging, product development, corporate identity documents, and presentations. Your work will span from initial sketches to industry-standard software outputs. We are particularly interested in candidates with strong illustration skills and experience in Blender, along with a background in artworking for consumer packaging.

Key Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in a design studio or in-house design team, ideally in an SME.
Experience in packaging design and retailer displays.
A strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking and personality.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with mastery in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop CC.
Experience in vector-based illustrations.
Skills in 2D illustrated animation and stop-motion animation would be advantageous.
Project management and organizational skills are essential.
Key Accountabilities:

Confidently producing creative concepts from initial drawings to digital formats.
Creating print-ready production graphics.
Producing creative vector illustrations as required.
Designing product visuals and presentations.
Creating retailer packaging mock-ups and point of sale displays.
Collaborating closely with other designers and departments throughout the project lifecycle, from initial proposals to final artwork updates.
Maintaining excellent attention to detail and time management.
Using MAC operating systems and design packages.
Supporting the studio with general day-to-day operations.
Assisting the team with brief creation and departmental meetings (training provided).
A BTEC National Diploma or a recognized graphics qualification is desirable but not essential. Additional qualifications in industry software programs and photography skills would be advantageous.
