We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our global supply chain operations and ensure that products reach our customers on time, every time.
The Role
As Supply Chain Manager, you’ll be responsible for planning, procurement, production, logistics, and warehouse management across our international supply chain. You’ll ensure stock is available to meet demand across global markets, while driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high service levels.
This is a leadership role with direct responsibility for Supply Chain Co-ordinators and Administrators. You’ll play a key part in developing the team, streamlining processes, and supporting the Head of Operations in delivering excellence across the function.
Key Responsibilities
Lead demand planning and inventory forecasting to ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time.
Oversee purchase order placement, production schedules, and bulk order management with Far East factories.
Manage international freight by sea, land and air, approving costs and ensuring compliance with shipping and customs requirements.
Maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, 3PL partners, and warehouses, ensuring service levels are met.
Track and report on supply chain KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve performance, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team, fostering collaboration across the wider business.
About You
We’re looking for someone who combines analytical ability with strong commercial awareness and the leadership skills to get the best out of a team. You’ll be proactive, organised, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Essential skills and experience:
Proven experience in a supply chain management or senior planning role.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
Experience working with Far East factories and international freight partners.
Background in FMCG or consumer products.
Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
Desirable:
Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related discipline.
Professional certification (CIPS, APICS or equivalent).
Knowledge of customs and international shipping documentation.
